What a day! Arrived late thinking we had missed the opening formalities. It only had just begun.
It was another emotional affair. WE DID IT! And they are going to do again come Sunday.
Being among the warriornation including three of my baby siblings just fuelled an already excited Lady A. I’m calm and collective. But inside I was over the moon. The excitement is definitely in the air and one thing is certain WE BELIEVE.
My little man whom I refer most times to as my ‘ninja’ definitely got in the spirit of things. The one name on his tongue? Manu! Go Manu!
Despite the tight schedule the @NZ_Warriors boys came out, trained, put smiles on their youngest of fan’s faces and gave the crowd plenty to cheer about. After all our team are going to Grand Finals! Not just the one but three :). Thank you to the players and club for making today a real ‘family’ affair.
It is no doubt the boys will do us all proud. Whether we are there in Sydney or cheering them on from home. They leave us in the morning with all our blessings, prayers and only the best of wishes. They will surely not be short of support when they arrive with a cohort as well as the many fans who live in Sydney alone.
Whoever said NZ was a rugby nation? That I use to believe but over the years rugby league has taken a life of its own. The words have been spoken. The believers are filled with faith. Now all that is left to do is build a bigger cabinet to hold the three trophies that will touch down in Auckland come the new month.
Kia kaha. Kia Toa.
GO WARRIORS !!!
